Hubbard Road

This house was big enough, the homeowners loved their neighborhood, rear views and the schools - they just didn't love the traditional many-room layout of their executive ranch.  So - we designed this full interior renovation.  The living room was wall off and the living room ceiling felt very low.  A ceiling that's ok in most rooms will feel low in a big room like this one.  Part of the renovation was a raised tray ceiling, still under the existing room - and added skylights.

We added a single 18" x 60" extension to a bath - to make just enough room for that soaking tub that just wouldn't fit gracefully. You can see it at far left on the picture below - notice that we kept the plumbing for the tub within the existing house, to avoid unecessary cost.
