Locke Road

This addition is an artist's space, screened porch and mud room - added to a house built in the early 1800's, that had been in our homeowner's family for generations.  They wanted it to enhance and compliment, not overwhelm.  the window placement and cupula are to provide the indirect light so important to artists.

The addition is at the right of this photo and the part connecting to the main house.



The lot slopes quite a bit and the homeowners wanted the studio to flow directly to the yard. The right image shows the new "friends and family" entry porch.
