New Homes
Option 1 - Custom Home Design
- Starts with our House Call - design done with you, in 3D. See it as you will live it.
- Next step is Design Development.
For most clients, very little is needed, sometimes none.
This is where we tweak the kitchen, chose a specific window brand, and any other minor changes you may want.
Budget an hour or two for each 1,000 sq ft of house size - at $125/hour. This will vary greatly with your needs and decision making process.
- Then we do Construction Drawings.
For very round budgeting, start with $3/sq ft of heated space and $1.50/sq ft for unheated space other than the basement (garages, unfinished "future", porches, etc). It can vary from $1 to $5, but we wanted to give you a starting point.
These budget numbers are for our typical drawing set. Very detailed work, such as highly detailed built-ins, will be more.
We give you a fixed fee proposal, so you will know exactly what it will be. We can do a fixed price at this stage because we have the House Call Drawings to define our scope of work.
Option 2 - Artform Home Plans - Completed designs and construction drawings - Ready to Build, Really.
- Prices for construction drawings start at $950
- Designs suitable for the New England climate.
- Designs to suit both traditional and unique families.
- See your new home the way you will live it - in 3D - so you know what you are buying.
- Clear modern drawings that meet current code.
Option 3 - Semi-Custom
- Start with an Artform Home Plans design, and change it to suit your needs.
- All designs are developed using 3D software that facilities design changes.
- Even with a fair amount of change, design and construction drawing cost for most projects is still a fraction of normal architectural fees.
